| We are looking for the two Junior Research Fellows to join the SCANMAT center, CUTN to employed in the project NAMM funded by RCN and UiO. This project development of advanced magnetic materials those posses electro caloric, magneto caloric or multi caloric properties using stae of the art computational methods based on DFT, molecular dynamics and machine learning approches. Magneto caloric (MC) materials are a new class of materials useful for efficient refrigeration by replacing large GHG emitting, energy inefficient, and century-old compression–evaporation cycle refrigeration technology. The SCANMAT research group has world class facility of HPC centre with state of art softwares and expertise to model advanced functional materials useful for various energy technologies supervised by world renounced scientist Prof. P. Ravindran. The persons to be employed in the project will closely work with experimental team at UiO, Norway in this project. The research activities of SCANAMT can be found at https://folk.universitetetioslo.no/ravi/cutn/people.html. The qualified candidates may be considered for pursuing their PhD at CUTN. The duration of the project is 3 years from the joining date of JRF. |
